“Nico's Weg: A1” is a movie intended for German language beginners. in this movie, it shows the basics in German languange which is covered with a simple film and shows the culture that exists in Germany. So, Lets just go straight to the synopsis of this movie.

This film tells the story about a man from Spain named Nico who came to Germany to meet his aunt, besides that Nico still learning German languange. But Unfotunetlly, his bag was lost, and all that remains is the photo of his aunt. However, there were 2 good people, Emma and her aunt, Lisa, who wanted to help Nico find the bag and his aunt's address lived. Nico went through several adventures to find the whereabouts of his aunt and bag, on his adventure he met many nice people who taught him German and helped solve his problems, one of which was Ms. Inge offers Nico to live with her before he met his aunt and because Lisa and her friends are going on a vacation, also the apartment will be renovated. As time goes by, Nico found a bicycle shop that owned by his aunt who was a friend of  Max, the cafe owner who Nico often visited, but his aunt was away so he was waiting for him. In the end, the real reason Nico came to Germany was discovered. That is because his parents forced him to study, and Nico hated going to school. However Nico doesn't know what he want to do and just wants to go far to Germany to meet his aunt, Yara. But in the end Nico knew his goal, which was to build his own shop.

I got a lot of knowledge about german from this film, one of which is about German Culture. So I will tell you some of the German culture in this film,

First, Germans always asking about each other's condition introduce themselves when calling someone and like to help others.

Second, Germans often hold parties, like the farewell party in the movie, even though the party is simple. If you see it further, when the party started they are all separate, some are with their groups some are alone, it doesn't seem like they are partying together, and also kids in German often stay overnight to celebrate birthdays.

Third, Germans are friendly and love to share. As in the film, the deliveryman is tipped by the buyer and a seller who gives 2 bonus oranges to the buyer.

Fourth, the Germans are always on time and keep their promise. This can be seen from Lisa, who, although only 15 minutes late and that was not intentional, is also seen from keeping promises such as promises to play football.

There are many benefits that can be taken from this film,

1. We can learn German and its culture in a more interesting way because it is in the form of a movie. In this movie you can learn about greetings, daily conversations, how to talk about time, country, jobs, food, drinks, and many more, basically showing the daily lives of Germans. Indeed, at first you must be difficult to understand every conversation in this film, therefore the way to improve our German language skill from this film is to often hear daily conversations accompanied by a dictionary,  try to speak German,  learn new vocabulary, and repeat on continuously.

2. There are many moral values that can be taken from this film. First, always help each other, such as Nico, who is a newcomer, helped by many people. Also, Ms. Inge who provided temporary shelter for Nico and how max and nico helped Lisa to provide her missing documents. Second, Do what you want and like, its show When Nico’s reason coming to Germany is discovered, it’s because he runs away from his parents that forced him to study. He knows he doesn't like it and comes to Germany to do what he likes, That is making his own shop that he dreams of. Third, I got it from Selma who told me that when you have been living abroad for a long time, even though the country is comfortable, you will definitely miss your homeland.

One of the funny things about this film is in the comments column:

It doesn't make sense, where can anyone speak a new language in 1 until 2 days? And even Nico understands how to use it, one of which is that Nico learned how to conjugate a verb in five minutes. So this comment is very funny because it says the secret learning to speak German in 1-2 days is to go to Germany and lost your bag, and also drink cola, because the conversation after drinking cola is difficult for beginners to understand.

Her comment is funny too. Yeah at the first of the film I feel Nico is a beginner like me too, but Nico is going too fast, he learns too fast, even I can't understand the conversation when it's in the middle of the movie without being accompanied by a dictionary.
